I recently retired after many years of being an RN. I was taught to sew by my mother and my grandmother at a very early age. Sewing and creating feeds my soul. I am a survivor of the #1 birth defect, a congenital heart defect. CHD affects 1 in 100 births. Most survivors need life long care.
